_A very brief history . . .
Wester Lix was once a farm consisting of the original Farm House and the Steading both now over 200 years old and looking good for their age.
Next door and adjoining the Farm House is Wester Lix Cottage - owned by our lovely artist neighbours Heather and Bernard.
The Steading suffered a serious fire in 2005 and although the 200 year old walls resisted the fire everything else had to be re-built. Next door to the Steading is Jonna's Cottage - which was once a work shop attached to the Steading this too was completely refurbished in 2005. Dave and I live in the Steading and own and rent out Jonna's Cottage - plus we rent out the Farm House for our neighbours.
Dave and I are Photographic Artists and so with our neighbours also being Artists there is very much a creative spirit about Wester Lix.
