Wildgrass Cottage (formerly Jonnas Cottage) offers the following facilities - all included in the rental price unless stated .....
- Sky TV plus DVD Player.
- WiFi broadband service.
- Linen for the beds is provided, personal towels provided by arrangement with a small cover charge for laundry.
- Cot and High Chair available by arrangement - but we do NOT provide cot bedding.
- A library of fiction and non fiction books, magazines and local activity guides.
- All cleaning materials are provided as well as washing up liquid, washing up brush, sponge, kitchen towels, dish washer tablets, bin bags etc etc and a loo roll in each en suite .
- Dishwasher - tablets provided. For the washing machine please bring your own powder/tablets.
- Iron
- Electricity is by £1 coin meter but we fill the meter for you.
- The Sauna is metered -a t guests cost - but your first sauna is on us.
- A note about the water supply. We benefit from our own private water supply fed from a spring within our grounds, so its real Scottish Highland Spring water. Whilst the property has a filter and bug killer we do warn guests that this is untreated water and if any guests are particularly sensitive then they are advised to bring bottled water or to boil the tap water before use.
And last but not least or your comfort..
- the property benefits from full double glazing, oil fired central heating plus a wood and coal burning fire in the lounge.
Heating is included in the rental - so no nasty extra costs when you leave. All we ask is that you respect our costs and be considerate with its use.
Pets
Dogs with well behaved owners are very welcome at Wester Lix - we make a small charge of £15 for the first dog and then £10 per dog thereafter. The number of dogs and other pets are negotiable . . .
The grounds are best described as rural and a little wild so children are free to play in the grounds whilst accepting the non suburban environment. We do have a lawn mower but it only makes an appearance once in a while.
Parking. We have plenty of space for 3+ guests cars some 100ft from the cottage.
