The original Wester Lix Farm once dominated a section of Glen Dochart which has been a managed pine forest for many years offering many local woodland footpaths for extended walks, all without using the car.

The site is situated in the northern section of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park approx 3 miles to the west of Killin in Perthshire.
We are found at the end of a 500 yd track off the A85 a short drive south of the Lix Toll Garage and the A827 road junction to Killin.

"We are four well traveled 'Wrinkles' , Have had lots of these sort of holidays both here and abroad and I have to say The Road To The Isles stops here. We possibly had the best weather that Scotland had this year, Wall to Wall sunshine"
